Hazel Williams

Hazel Maxine Williams 86 years old Sept. 15, 1928 - August 18, 2015 God broke the mold when He made my Mom. She was truly a gift from God. Hazel was the baby of 7 kids. She is survived by 2 of her siblings. Her sister Betty Roberts 94 of Tulsa OK. and her brother Ernest (Curly) Leeds 96 of Grass Valley, CA. My Mom and Dad were never able to have children so they opened their hearts and adopted three answers to prayer. (Her words not mine). My 2 brothers Kenneth Williams of Tacoma WA. Kevin Williams Deceased 1990 and me Karletta Myers (Louie Myers) of Mad River, CA. Hazel was a 30 year employee of AT&T. She loved her job for the Telephone Company. But she really enjoyed retirement so she could spend more time with her grand babies. Ken has 4 kids. Julie Gobble of Kansas, Angela Helgeson of Grass Valley CA, Sarah Gendreau of Chico CA and Kenneth Williams II of Oroville CA Karletta has 4 blended kids Louie Myers II of Chico CA and Nathanial Myers (Brittany Myers) of Lawton OK, Lydia Sweeny of San Luis Obispo CA and Jesse Myers of CO. She has more Great Grands Kids just too many to name but loved non the less. Hazel has been suffering from Alzheimer's for many years now. She died from complications due to the Alzheimer's in her own home here in Chico. That was her wish. There will be a viewing on Tuesday August 25, 5 pm-8 pm. With graveside services on Wednesday 2 pm at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. There will be a small reception at Hazels Home at 17 Holt Ln Chico, CA (Please bring your own chair.) after the services on Wednesday. Love you Mom. You will be missed. Glad you are whole again.
