Jill Bachman

A memorial service will be held for Jill Bachman, 70, of Chico, on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. She passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at her home. Jill was born on June 2, 1942 in Schenectady, NY to Joe and Charlotte Campbell. In 1945, the family moved to Claremont, CA and in 1960, she graduated from Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek. While attending Chico State, she met Cal Bachman. They were married on June 9, 1962. Jill worked for an insurance agency and Chico State before joining her husband in the family business. When her children were young she was active in 4-H, youth sports and many other community organizations. Jill was also a long time member of Omega Nu. She is survived by her husband, Cal Bachman of Chico; one daughter, Tara Anderson of Coeur d'Alene, ID; two sons, Todd and Troy Bachman, both of Chico; four grandchildren, Dylan, Madisyn, Connery and Caton, all of Chico.
