Martha Hunt
d. Jan 1, 2001
Martha Hunt of Paradise died from ALS complications.
She was the daughter of Roberto and Magdalena Robles. She was married to Ken Hunt for over 41 years. She was the mother of Christie Manchester (Fremont, CA), Jennifer Manson (Paradise, CA), and Victoria Hunt (also of Paradise, CA), and grandmother to Taylor, Ricky, Morgan, Kendra and Harlow. Martha nurtured her children to be strong of character and gentle of heart.
Martha (Marta), was born in Mazatlan, Mexico. She came to the USA for schooling, and graduated from high school in Ukiah, CA in 1969. Ken, smart boy that he is, never let her return home.
Owner of Colonial Coffee & Tea in Paradise for 13 years, Martha made friends by the hundreds. Her extraordinary cooking skills and warm personality endeared all who came to "visit" with Martha at her coffee shop. Martha truly loved her customer-friends.
Martha loved with a gentle heart, was loved by all, and there is no way to express just how much her presence will be missed by her family, and by her family of friends.
Service to be held at Paradise Alliance Church on Clark Rd. in Paradise at 11 a.m., on Thursday, February 3, 2011.
