Mona Maybee

Mona Marie Rose Maybee was born to Albert and Bettie (Brashers) Rose in Republic, Greene Co, Missouri on July 22, 1923. She was a devoted Christian and served as a leader in numerous Southern Baptist Churches in various locations during her almost 94 years. She slipped away peacefully on March 14, 2017. Mrs. Maybee was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her oldest daughter, Beth Rowe as well as her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Orrin Maybee, who died in 2003. She is survived by her daughters: Mickey (Billy) Hayes of Los Molinos, Miki Martin (Danny) of Los Osos, and Melody (Fred) Bryant of Ohio and by her son, Mark Maybee of Chico; grandchildren: Sue (Art) Corcoran of Idaho, Larry (Ruby) Rowe of Oregon, David Rowe and John Rowe of Minnesota; Michael (Kim) Hayes of Chico, Bonnie (Larry) Corum of Clovis, and Ben Hayes of Chico; Chris (Rejane) Monroe of San Luis Obispo; Erik Bryant of Chico, Graem (Jaede) Bryant of Georgia and Kaela (Ryan) Elliott of Ohio; Jessica (Kyle) Ayon of Chico and Emily Maybee of Oregon, many great- grandchildren as well as numerous great-great grandchildren and other loving family members, nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends.
