Nancy Pearce
Mar 5, 1935 — Sep 16, 2018
Nancy Ann Pearce, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2018.
Nancy was born March 5, 1935 to Alfred and Marcella (Bollman) Mullerleile in Janesville, Minnesota.
After the loss of her father's farm, the family moved to Clovis, California. Nancy attended schools there, graduating from Clovis High School in 1953. It was there she met Robert Ulsh and they were married right after graduation. Robert left for boot camp and, by October of that same year, they were stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Two years later they moved to Fresno, California where they raised their four children until 1967 when they relocated to Forest Ranch after purchasing a restaurant. Nancy's Ranch House was a favorite stop for the log truck drivers who loved her cooking, especially her pies.
Not long after the purchase of the restaurant, she and Robert divorced. In the early 70's she married John Gray and, several years later, they moved to Lomo, California. It was at this time in her life that she was introduced to the Gospel and accepted the Lord Jesus as her Savior. She attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Chico, California, teaching Sunday School for many years.
Their marriage ended in the late 80's and, in February 1989 she married Clarence Pearce to whom she was married at the time of her death.
Nancy had a love of gardening, canning, and cooking. She enjoyed family and friends and any event where she could use her love of cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Pearce; sisters, Connie Samuelian and Sally Place; 4 sons and their spouses, Randy and Sandra Ulsh, Dale and Sharon Ulsh, Gary and Karen Ulsh, Randy and Vicky Pearce; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Disney; daughter, Pamela Jean Ulsh; step-daughter, Vicki Lynn Pearce; and John Gray.
