PATRICIA ANN KENNEDY Graveside services for Patricia Kennedy will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico. Patricia passed away peacefully at home due to cancer with family by her side and under the care of Butte Home Health and Hospice on January 13, 2013, at the age 70. Patricia was born March 13, 1942 in Oakland, CA to Emily and George Carrigan. She later moved to Chico, where she attended Chico High School. Pat worked various jobs and then retired from 3M Corporation after 15 years as a machine operator. She loved to travel and sightseeing in their motorhome with Fred and her loyal dogs. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Tami Sibley; and her parents. Patricia is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Fred; brother, Michael (Cora) Carrigan; loving children, Kimberly (Kevin) Brown; Jeff (Diane) Valentine; Erin Kennedy; Patrick Michael Kennedy, and Steven Allen Kennedy; along with 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and cousins; also a stepmother, Phyllis Carrigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Butte Home Health and Hospice, in care of Brusie Funeral Home.
