Phebe Ann Gile

Phebe A. Gile Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother went home to be with the lord on October 16, 2015 in Chico, Ca. at her residence at Golden Sierra Care home. She was 86 . Phebe was born on April 25, 1929 in Harbor City, Ca. to Edward and Phebe Ogden. Phebe attended high school. She was a school bus driver and instructor for Chico Unified school District for 30 years. Phebe also was a Fire bus driver as well as a Tour Bus driver for Golden State Tours. She also was a CNA, and worked for Life Touch Pictures. Phebe loved going on cruises, sewing, reading and bowling. She was also a pool shark. She is survived by her children Steve, Suzie, Cathy , Nancy and Christine.. 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A celebration of Phebe's life will be held at 10 a.m. on November 2,2015 in the chapel of Brusie Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Glen Oaks Memorial Park.
