The family migrated from Oklahoma to Weed, California in the late 1930's, where Rose Mary eventually graduated from high school in 1945. She met and became friends with her loving husband, George Rinker, in Oklahoma. They were married by a Justice of the Peace in Oroville, California, in 1945. Together they raised three sons. Rose Mary kept herself constantly involved with her community. She was a very active member of Church on the Esplanade for 62 years. Rose Mary served the Lord in many capacities over the years, modeling God's love and compassion every day. She was heavily involved in the Chico Chapter of Eastern Star, where she was a member for 55 years. For many years Rosemary was a very dedicated volunteer at Chico Community Hospital and, until recently, she continued to stay in touch with their Lunch Bunch group. In her retirement she also found time to travel, and volunteer at the Discovery Shoppe.

Rinker of Oroville; two granddaughters, Wendy Dodge (Brad) and Jodee Rinker (Jim) Berry; and two grandsons, Jason Gage (Jessica) and Thomas Rinker (Amber).
