KOHSROW (SAM) BAKHTIAR SANJABI Sam Sanjabi of Chico passed away Wednesday, September 25th. He immigrated to the United States as a young man who fell in love with freedom of the USA. He was a successful entrepreneur starting with franchising the original Chico Denny's (now Jacks), inventing the Grand Slam breakfast, then grew to building and owning the Joby's restaurants, one on the corner of Mangrove and Cohasset and one in Corning. He then owned and worked almond, walnut, and rice ranches around the greater Chico area in the 80's. He lived in Chico for 50 years. He turned his greatest expertise, hobby and passion of big game hunting into a business in 1990: Trophy Ammo.
