Timothy Randall

Jan 10, 1964 — Nov 14, 2016

Tim Randall was born in Phoenix, Arizona to Robert and Aileen Randall on January 10, 1964. Shortly after his birth, they moved to Rossmor, CA. His family moved up north to Chico in 1978 where they started their rental business, A & J Party Rentals. He attended high school at Chico High and then went on to work the family business. He met his wife, Bernadette Bonifacino, through an exchange at A & J and they were later married in the San Juan Bautista Mission on August 6, 1988. With the passing of his father in 1996, Tim stepped up and became part owner and operator alongside his sister, Judy and his nephew, Ben. He worked at A & J for 35 years before his diagnosis in January 2016. Tim had a passion for the family business but was also a loving husband to his wife and father to his two children. He went through Cub Scouts and Boy scouts with his son Mason, soon after realizing he shared the same love of the outdoors as he did. His daughter became part of FFA during high school and Tim involved himself as much as possible with the local Chico FFA Booster club and FFA department, even after Claudia graduated high school. Tim had a passion for the outdoors. His hobbies included bird watching, hiking, fishing, reading and most importantly, taking the time to enjoy the many wonders of taking the long way home or the scenic route. His favorite place to go to experience all of these was The Lava Beds National Monument. He also enjoyed many fishing trips as well as dirt bike rides with his close friends and family. Tim was beloved by the community because he was a kind and caring individual who always made it a point to get to know people. He always had a smile on his face and a joke for every occasion. It was a blessing to know him and he will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette, his two children, Claudia (23) and Mason (16); his mother, Aileen Randall; his brother, Dave Randall; his sister, Judy Murray and many more family and friends. We are left with incredible life lessons, memories, and the knowledge that he loved us deeply, because he never missed an opportunity to say "I love you". A Celebration of Life at Bidwell Presbyterian Church will be held on January 10th at 3:00pm.
