Tony Anthony McDaniel

Tony Anthony McDaniel, age 67, of Plumas Lake, California entered into rest on July 11, 2026.

Tony was born on May 11, 1959 to Joe Louis and Vallie (Valerie) McDaniel in Chico, California. A true pillar of his family, he was known throughout the Butte, Sutter, and Yuba region for his love of basketball, education, and ability to connect with people. Tony played basketball while attending Chico HS, Butte College, and Chico State and coached numerous local youth and Yuba College teams. He touched many lives throughout his career at Yuba College and Sierra Central Credit Union.

A celebration of Tony's life and legacy will be held on July 30, 2026 at 10:00 am at Grace Community Church, 2346 Floral Ave., Chico. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on July 29, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home, 626 Broadway St., Chico. He leaves his loving wife, daughter, grandchildren, family and dear friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
