Valarie Elaine Welch

A private memorial service will be held for Valarie Jones Welch, 61, of Chico. She passed away after a very private battle with cancer.

Val was born July 9, 1965 to Gilbert and Judie Jones. She attended Chico Schools and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1983. She worked at Bidwell Title and Escrow for 30 years. Val’s greatest pride and joy was in caring for her son and husband.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Welch; son, Clayton Welch; father, Gilbert Jones; sisters, Tori and Leslie. Val was preceded in death by her mother Judie.
