Bj "Betty Jane" Taylor-Williams

Betty Jane was born on November 21, 1926 in Albany, Oregon to Elbert Floyd Hall and Esther may (McChesney) Hall. BJ graduated from Canby High School and went on to attend Oregon State University. She married Donald N. Taylor in June of 1948. She later married Don H. Williams in December of 1993. Both preceded Betty in death. BJ was married for 42 years to Donald N. Taylor, raising two daughters in Walla Walla, Washington. They returned to Canby after living in California and Idaho. Her second marriage to Don Williams added 25 years of joy to her already fabulous life. she filled her life with family and friends, skiing, golfing, tennis and travel. She is survived by her daughter Susan Bitter (Robert) of Canby and Janice Blumert (Keith) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; 3 granddaughters; and great grandchildren. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery next to her beloved Don. There will be a memorial service Friday, March 22, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Willamette Valley Country Club.
