Edward David Romero

Ed Romero passed away Thursday May 20th at Portland Providence Hospital at the age of 87. He was a 51 year resident of Canby and taught drafting 26 years and was in charge of the vocational education for 18 years at Canby High School. He had his own cabinet business for 36 years and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 50 years, daughters, Jamie Pittman, Janet Smith, Trisha Fisher and 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Good Shepherd Community Church 28986 SE Haley Rd. Boring, Oregon Sunday May 30th at 3:30PM. Viewing at Canby Chapel will be Saturday May 29th from 2:00 to 5:00PM. Burial services will be Tuesday June 1st at Willamette National Cemetery at 9:30AM. Donations in memory to Ed can be sent to Living Hope Church 19691 Meyers Rd.
