Lee was raised in Burbank, California where she graduated high school at Burroughs High. Lee and Robert migrated to Molalla, Oregon in 1962, where they raised their family of three children. Lee and Robert built their family home in Molalla and ran a successful dairy farm there, as well. Lee had many hobbies that included sewing for family and friends, and sewing children’s and doll clothing. Lee would never admit it, but she was a master seamstress. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, along with fine tuned embroidery work. Her work was amazing! Lee enjoyed reading and cooking; nobody every left her home with an empty stomach! But most important to Lee was her family. Lee loved her family through and through, and she never had a harsh word to say about anyone. Lee worked for a few years at Farmers Insurance before returning home to raise her family, because family was more important to her than any career. Lee is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Polack; her three children, Christie, Cindy and Ken; six grandchildren, Tom, , Jon, Rachel, Spencer, Tyson, and Tonja; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Boone, and Paige, who referred to her lovingly as GG. Lee was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Bowden of Thousand Oaks, California; her sister, Barbara Fierce of Thousand Oaks, California; and Mother Ruth Marie Marvin (Dowling). Lee touched on many lives during her short stay on Earth, and we all know that heaven is now a far better place, now that she as arrived, Lee, we will always love you and miss you; you are in our hearts forever. Remembrances may be made “in memory of Lee Polack” to the Special Olympics. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- Eleanor married Robert Polack on May 15, 1959 in San Fernando, California, in the Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church.
