Elizabeth Fern Merrill
Aug 5, 1954 — Jan 16, 2013
Elizabeth "Becky" Fern Merrill died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the age of 58. Elizabeth Fern Merrill was born August 5, 1954 in Modesto, California to Richard F. and Bamie Campagna. She attended St. Josephs Elementary Catholic School in Las Vegas and graduated from Helix High School in La Mesa, California. On April 14, 1991 she married Michael H. Merrill, in Lakeside, California. Becky and her husband Mike were owners of Pappy's Greasy Spoon in Canby. She loved being a part of the community and was looking forward to getting back to the restaurant to see all her dear friends. Her smile would light up the room. She was selfless and always offered a safe haven for children, nieces and nephews when they were having life troubles. Becky is survived by her husband, Michael Merrill of Canby; sister Katherine Jordan of Aurora; brother Richard Campagna of Norco, California; father, Richard F. Campagna of Rosesville, California; sons Wade Merrill and Mike Merrill of Canby; daughter Jennie Alshouse of Ramona, California; 11 granchildren; 1 great grandchild and 5 nieces and nephews. Her family was her universe, especially her grandchildren. She will now be their Angel in Heaven. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. We love you Becky! A Memorial service was held for Becky at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, January 21, 2013 followed by a luncheon for family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Canby Funeral Chapel. www.canbymolallafuneralchapels.com
