Evelyn Louise Delker

Evelyn Louise Delker passed away at hr Canby home on February 23, 2015 after a three year battle with cancer. She was born in Santa Monica California on October 29, 1943 to Wesley and Marie Sorenson. She grew up in Newport Beach California where she met and married Wilbur Delker. She was an Avon lady and an electronics assembly technician for many years in the Canby and Wilsonville area. Evelyn enjoyed camping, fishing, motorcycel riding, and spending time with her grandson. You could always count on Evelyn to greet you with a smile and have a lasting conversation, she loved to talk. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Wilbur Delker of Canby; daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Darvin Travel of Aurora; grandson Jordan Tramel; and twin brother, Robert Sorenson of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Wesley and Marie Sorenson, and her daughter Kathy Marie Delker. A memorial service will be held at the Canby Nazarene Church on March 14, 2015 at 11: 00 a.m.
