Helen Lucille Davis

Helen Lucille Davis died at the age of 99, December 3, 2014 in Canby, Oregon. Helen Lucille Davis was born October 18, 1915 to Charles G. and Aleta (Albasini) Barberis in Broadwater, Nebraska. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in Nebraska. She became an accomplished dress designer, pattern maker and a very skilled garment seamstress. Helen married Logan Davis on November 1, 1935 in Oshkosh, Nebraska. Helen came from Italian heritage, had a wonderful sales career, and loved her family and dear friends. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Caldwell, Idaho. Survivors include her daughters: Laura Sattler of Canby, Oregon, Ruth Anne Hobbs of Chandler, Arizona; brother, Ed Barberis of St. George, Utah; grandsons; Garry Evans, Randy Evans, Tommy Evans; 4 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several close nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Mass Celebration of Life said for her on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell, Idaho at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Canby Funeral Chapel. www.canbymolallafuneralchapel.com
