Joshua Stanley Vega

Joshua Stanley Vega died December 12, 2016, at the young age of 21. A service was held on the 20th of December at St. Patrick's Church in Canby. Josh was born January 27, 1995 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland. When he was nine, his family moved to Canby where he attended Canby public Schools. As a child and adult he could often be found at the skate park. He resided briefly in Lincoln City and hoped to move back there someday. Josh worked at Rite Aid and was pursuing a nursing degree at Clackamas Community College. He had just completed his CNA training and had accepted a position at the Molalla Manor Care Center. Josh was beloved and respected by those who knew him. He is survived by his father Abel Vega and step-mother Maggie of Silverton, his mother Nikki Adams, brother Alex Vega-Adams of Canby, sister Karina Vega of Silverton, step-brother Alex, step-sister Dani, grandparents Rod and Kari Moore of Lincoln City. Josh was much loved and will be greatly missed by many family members and friends across the United States, in Mexico, and England.
