Maria Apetroaei

Maria Apetroaei, 70, of Botosani, Romania passed away peacefully on August 8, 2022 in her own home in Oregon City, Oregon. Maria was born on August 14, 1951. She was the third -born in a family of three children. At the age of sixteen , she moved to Lupeni, Hunedoara. Maria married the love of her life Dumitru Apetroaei in 1968 and they enjoyed 53 years together. They raised two children Daniel and Gabriela. Maria was a caring & loving mother. In 2003 after many attempts to get approval to immigrate to the United States, her dream came true and in 2021 she became a US citizen! Maria was a happy person who loved her family and cooked amazing meals. She was a great wife, mother , and grandmother (affectionately known as Buna) Maria is survived by her son Daniel and his wife Petronella, daughter Gabriela and her husband Florin; grandchildren, Allen, Alexis, Mihnea, and Larisa
