Michael Robert Hodges

Michael Robert Hodges Sr. died June 15, 2013. He was 62. He was born June 9, 1951, in Portland, to Bill and Emily Hodges. He married Gale Reents in January of 1970 and later married Eileen Hodges February 14, 1991. He graduated from Marshal High school in Portland in 1969. He was a mill worker and truck driver for 30 years. He loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting, gold prospecting and had a great love for his pugs. Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife, Eileen of Canby; son, Michael Robert Hodges Jr., of Canby; daughter, Julie Roxanne Hodges, of Corvallis, Montana; step children, Theodore Pease, of Lake Bay, Washington, and James Pease, of Aurora, Colorado; brothers, Danny Hodges, of Tri-Cities, Washington , and Keven Hodges, of Canby; and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Hodges. A memorial service was held on June 21, at the Macksburg Lutheran Church with Pastor Janelle Aldrich-Dale officiating.
