Michelle Renee Hudson

Nov 28, 1956 — May 16, 2017

Created on Wednesday, 31 May 2017 | Written by John Baker | November 28, 1956 to May 16, 2017 - She worked as a realtor for many years Michelle Renee Hudson was born to George and Annie Hudson on November 28th, 1956 in Portland, Oregon. She moved to Canby in 1972 when her father opened up the Napa Store in town. She attended Canby High and graduated Class of 1975. In 1981 she married and moved to Milwaukie where she was blessed with her 2 precious children, Bryce in 1986 and Amanda in 1988. In 1997 Michelle and her children moved back to Canby and lived in the family home on Pine Street until her passing. Michelle worked as a realtor for many years, ending her career at BHG Realty Partners in Canby. This was a natural path for her as George, her father, was also a realtor in Canby in his later years. She enjoyed her clients very much and especially being able to serve them in the community where she lived. The most important thing in her life has always been her children, Bryce and Amanda. Life revolved around these two from the time they were born and she put her all into them. It's hard to summarize a life in a few words but Michelle had true grit and was a tough cookie! She was also a very sensitive and private person making it difficult to share news of her cancer with others. She was a force of nature that could not be held down! She passed quietly in her home May 16th with her loved ones present. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, and her older brother Craig. She is survived by her children, Bryce Ritter and Amanda Weber (husband Kyle), both of Canby, Oregon. A Celebration of Life will be held June 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Cutsforth's Town Hall in Canby, 225 NE 2nd St. Donations can be made to Providence Cancer Research. Online donations can be made at https://appsor.providence.org/giving/?funds=68.
