Ruby Ellen Crorey

Ruby Ellen Crorey or many simply knew her as "Nana" was born to Charles Findley Chambers and Eula "Grandma Lee" Vaughn (Curly) Chambers- Leithead on March 11, 1924 in Denver, Colorado. Ruby married Oliver "Bud" Russell Riggs (1917-1986) and had three children Gail, Patricia and James "Jim" (1948-2011) Riggs. After the death of Oliver, Ruby remarried Theron A. Crorey (1918-1990), they lived in the Grants Pass area for many years. Ruby passed away at Hope Village- Marquis Care facility on August 28, 2016 at the age of 92. She was loved by many. Viewing will take place at Canby Funeral Chapel in Canby, Oregon on September 2nd from 3 to 5pm. Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Grants Pass, Oregon on September 6th at 1:00 pm.
