Selma Malinda Carothers Wright

Selma Malinda (Carothers) Wright was born, August 25, 1915 to Gelan and Amelia (Schmidt) Carothers in Hubbard, Oregon. Selma Malinda Wright died October 28, 2013 at the age of 98 in Canby, Oregon. Selma graduated from what is now O.S.U. and taught high school in Eastern Oregon and Molalla Union High School. Selma was married to Millard R. Wright. Selma enjoyed the White school picnics held at Champoeg State Partk and the Hubbard City Park. Both of Selma's parents, Glen and Amelia Carothers, and her husband Millard preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters; Paula Guffey of Wilsonville, and and Jessica Wright of Sisters, Oregon. Grandsons; Paul Guffey, Jon Guffey, Jess Guffey, and 4 great-grandsons.
