Sue was born on August 30, 1932, in Waureka, Oklahoma, to Gerald and Leila (Yard) Wyland. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Bradford Severson who passed away in 2013. She will be buried at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon along side her husband.
