Send Flowers Alexander John Lobban June 30, 1920 - August 5, 2014 Alexander “Alex” John Lobban, 94 of Longmont, CO, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Life Care Center in Longmont. Alex was born June 30, 1920 in Highmore, S.D. to James and Ruby (Fawsatt) Lobban. He married Leona Behney March 5, 1955 in Denver, CO. Alex worked for Martin Marietta for 8 years, IBM for 21 years, from which he retired. He also was a rancher in South Dakota for many years. Survivors: Wife, Leona Lobban, Longmont, CO, Grandchildren, Lyle (Stacie) Kunselman, Jr., and Amber Kunselman; Great Grand-daughter, Sisters, Ruth Sivertsen and Nillie Jager; Brother, James (Irene) Lobban. Nephews, Skip Shaw, James Lobban, Donald Lobban; Nieces, Lylia Puckett, Tammy Holcome and Florance Sandavol. Ex-Son-In-Law, Lyle Kunselman, Sr. Preceded in Death by his Daughter, Wendy Kunselman, Grandson, Nicholas Kunselman; Sisters, Edna Hasart, Margaret Knippling and Christina Smith; A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory. A reception will be held following the burial at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home.
