Barbra Stedman

Biography Barbra Marie Stedman, 89, of Boulder, formerly Longmont, died Sat., Oct. 19, 2013. Barbra was born in Lyons, CO on Dec. 24, 1923 to Reuben and Elmira (Gordon) Sjogren. She attended local schools, graduating from Lyons High School in 1941. Barbra married Aldro J. Stedman June 4, 1944. She attended Barnes School of Business and worked in Denver as a bookkeeper before returning to Longmont and working with Drs. White and Peterson, family practice and the old St. Vrain Hospital. Barbara worked in Boulder until her retirement in 1981. She is survived by her son, Gordon J. Stedman of Lacey, Washington, grandsons, Ronald J. Stedman, Longmont and Michael W. Stedman, great grandson, Colton J. Stedman, Longmont and niece, Eilene Leach of Firestone. Preceded in death by her husband, Aldro James Stedman. A Funeral Service will be held Fri., Oct. 25, 2013 at 10 am at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral and Cremation, 503 Terry St., Longmont, CO. Burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont.
