Candice Harden

Sep 20, 1947 — May 24, 2014

Candice Elaine Harden September 20, 1947 - May 24, 2014 Candice, 66, of Loveland was born to Elwin and Betty (Massey) Fletcher in Odessa, Texas. She met the love of her life, Gordon, while still in high school. They eloped on June 28, 1968 to Hawaii while he was a marine on RNR leave. They lived in Texas, Arkansas, and Colorado, finally settling in Loveland 7 years ago. Her passion for Christ was evident in everything she did. Her love for people grew as the Lord helped her understand his love for them. Through her prayers many people were healed and their lives changed. This also led to her ministry in Cuba where she saw many miracles and helped launch a bible school that has seen 10,000+ graduations. She was a precious and supportive wife, whose marriage was an example that helped many people understand the love that God has for his church. Known as "Mimi" to her grandkids and "Mama" to her church family, she gave all of herself to those she loved. She could brighten a room with her smile and her vibrant personality and loving heart will forever be remembered. Candice is survived by her husband of 45 years (Gordon), siblings (Sherry and Jerry); children (Scott and Margo), grandchildren (Kaley, Leya, Jet, and Bo), and nieces and nephews (Brad, Steve, Jason, Brandon, Nick, Fletch, Candice, Cara, and Travis). We welcome bright colors to celebrate Candice's vivacious spirit. Memorial contributions can be made to the March of Faith (in care of Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home) to support the ministry in Cuba. A visitation will be held Thursday May 29, 2014 from 5-7pm at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday May 30th at 12:00 p.m. at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Chapel, 503 Terry Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501.
