Charla Simon

SIMON, Charla Rae, 31, of Longmont, died as a result of an automobile accident on September 11, 2012. She was born August 31, 1981 in Casper, Wyoming to Clyde Witcher and Elene Medicraft. She graduated from Natrona County High School; Casper, WY class of ‘99. She met the love of her life, Kory Simon on January 9, 2000. They married in Casper on May 6, 2003. She accompanied her husband to Grafenwoehr, Germany; Ft. Riley, KS; Ft. Lewis, WA and later moved to Longmont, CO in July of 2011 after Kory completed his service in the military. Charla had a deep heartfelt love for people and the care she could offer them. She was greatly loved by all her family, friends and others whose lives she touched. She was an avid reader and very much enjoyed cooking. She had a tremendous love for God. Her family was the most important part of her world. Charla is survived by her husband, her father and mother, Kory’s parents Joseph and Susan, Casper, WY; two brothers: Dillon (Lynette) Witcher of Casper, WY and Robert Kraft of Casper, WY; one sister, Crystal (Jacob) Kountz of Casper, WY; Grandparents Rodney and Mickey Medicraft, Roswell, NM; five nieces and one nephew. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Chapel in Longmont, CO.
