Doris Mae Dacus

Doris Mae Dacus June 19th 1929 - July 24, 2017 Doris Mae Hill was born in Georgia on June 19th 1929. She is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and traveled around the world before she and her husband settled in Denver in 1964 to raise their 7 children. Doris is survived by her 6 children, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Doris was greeted in heaven by her daughter Peggy Dacus and other family members. Doris made a lasting impression on everyone she met through her sense of humor and loved to be the life of the party. Doris loved her family, friends, roses, gardening, and the Broncos. She will be missed by all those who knew her. A celebration of life will be held at the family home on Friday July 27, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please plant a yellow rosebush in her name.
