Ethel Haynes

Ethel Mae Haynes 89 of Longmont died June 10, 2012 at her home. She was born November 2, 1922 in Westplains, Missouri to Joesph and Ticha (Hall) Karr. On October 28, 1943 she married Milton Haynes in Blysville, Arkansas.Ethel lived in Longmont since 1945 and was a member of the Longmont Church of Christ. She loved gardening, quilting, crocheting, cleaning homes and cleaned her church for over 10 years. She worked at Valley Lab (Covidan) for five years as a Line Lead Assistant. Ethel was a great cook (southern cook) and baker who loved to bake pies. She was a wonderful person who always helped others and made sure people had what they needed.She is survived by her daughters Shirley Haynes Parker of Longmont and Glenda Haynes Sauer and husband Rick of Longmont; One Brother Don Karr of Iowa; Four grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, three brothers and one sister.A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Chapel.Interment Mountain View Cemetery.
