Evelyn Martin

Tribute Evelyn Adelaide Hursh Martin 97, of Longmont entered heaven on December 23, 2019 being 97 years young. Born on July 5, 1922 to Charles W. and Laura Adelaide Hursh in Decatur, IL. Evelyn graduated from McMurry College also being involved in their Equestrian program. Evelyn worked at Ft. Polk in Louisiana discharging returning WWII servicemen. Evelyn is survived by six children: Richard, Steve, Cindy, Mary, Carol, and David. And numerous grand children, great grandchildren and great great grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, and sons Ross and Mark. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. all at Longs Peak United Methodist Church, 1421 Elmhurst Dr, Longmont, CO 80503. Interment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
