Gerald Liedel

Gerald J. “Gerry” Liedel, 78, of Frederick, CO, died March 21, 2016. He was born May 31, 1937 to Arthur J. and Rosalee (Geoferson) Liedel in Michigan. Gerry served in the U. S. Navy for 13 years. After working with Boeing Aircraft as a Quality Assurance Manager, he retired after 35 years of employment. He married June Grondin October, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV. Gerry was a warm caring man who was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend that touched the lives of everyone he met. Survivors: Wife, June Liedel; Daughters, Judy, Joann and Step-Daughter, Denise; 5 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Sister, Judy; Brothers, David, Neal, Leo. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday, March 28, 2016, a Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm, Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home Chapel, 503 Terry St., Longmont, CO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 323 Collyer St., Longmont, CO.
