Guadalupe John Ortiz Jr. passed away April 12, 2014 at Longmont United Hospital at the Young age of 71. John was born Oct. 02, 1942 in Denver, CO to Guadalupe John Ortiz Sr. and Mary Rose (Trujillio) Ortiz. John was a very loved son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. John is survived by daughters: Denise Ortiz, Jaqueline Soto; brothers: his twin Fred Ortiz, Manual Ortiz and Richard Ortiz; sisters: Mary Martinez, Esther Savage, Hope Romero, Maria Ellena Jurado, Julie Wood; fifteen grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. An Inurnment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont at 2:00pm, Friday, April 18th, followed by a Celebration of John’s life at 3:00pm at First Lutheran Church, 300 third Ave in the Friendship room. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carroll-Lewellen Funeral & Cremation Services.
