John Bosco Anthony Layne

John Bosco Anthony Layne, 45, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on September 18, 2026. He was born on February 9, 1981, in Manila, Philippines, to John W. Layne, Jr. and Alicia B. Layne.

Bosco was a cheerful, kind, and wonderfully silly person who had a gift for making people smile and laugh. He was selfless and caring, always willing to help others and bring a little more joy into the lives of those around him. His presence brought warmth and laughter to his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Bosco was a talented tattoo artist who dedicated more than 20 years to his craft. He was a tattoo artist at 720 Main Street Tattoo, where his creativity and artistic talent touched the lives of many people. His work was more than a profession—it was an expression of his creativity and a part of who he was.

Outside of tattooing, Bosco loved being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hiking, exploring, and going on adventures. He loved cooking, tinkering with things, and finding ways to create, fix, and make things better. He had a curious spirit and an appreciation for life's simple adventures.

Bosco was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Pandora Layne; his mother, Alicia B. Layne; and his siblings, Maria Perez, John Layne III, Rosary Wilson, Anne Edwards, and Paul Layne. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Layne, Jr.

Bosco also leaves behind his two beloved cats, Lina and Mr. Sunday, who were an important part of his life and home.

Bosco will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His laughter, kindness, creativity, and adventurous spirit will remain in the hearts and memories of those who loved him.
