Kevin Matthew Locher

Tribute Kevin Matthew Locher passed away in his home on October 18, 2019 and the age of 42. He was born in Northridge, California on August 12, 1977. Kevin lived in California until moving to Colorado with his family in 2007. He worked in the restaurant industry including multiple restaurants in the Longmont and Frederick areas. Most recently, you would find him at The Gondolier in Longmont. Kevin is also survived by his parents Paul & Cheryl Locher and Connie & Don Fairchilds; Brother Robert Locher; children; Brittany, Julian, and Maegan; granddaughter Lucy; Step-Brother Daniel Allopenna, Step-sister Gina Dabney, and countless friends. There’s nothing Kevin loved more than his family, especially his kids and granddaughter. Lucy and Kevin formed a very special bond; she will always be his goose. Kevin was full of life and loved unconditionally. If you needed a friend or an ear, he was there. Some of Kevin’s favorite things were In-N-Out (you couldn’t go to California without bringing it back for him), cooking (he made the BEST peach pie and hot-butt chicken), the Redskins (always a point of contention in the Mile High), his Corvette (he LOVED that car), thunderstorms (he did a great impression of Steve Irwin). The list goes on and on….. Please come celebrate Kevin’s life and memory with us. We will have an open house memorial from 11am-2pm on Saturday, 11/2 at 6043 W 62nd Ave, Arvada, CO, 80003.
