Lenice Jones

Biography Lenice Jones passed away on March 29, 2013. She was born on June 29, 1941 to John Otis Brown and Sarah Elizabeth Simpson in Longmont. She married Carl R. Jones in 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada Lenice worked at Sherwood and Amphenol for over 20 years. She loved to watch the Broncos and Nuggets, go shopping and cook for her family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Her house looked like the Griswolds. She took great pride in surviving breast cancer years ago and adopted pink as her favorite color because of it. She loved her dog Sweetpea. Lenice is survived by her husband, Carl R. Jones; two sons: Michael (Linda) Perry and Ron (Brigitte) Taylor; grandsons: Ryan (Patricia) Hennig of Alexandria, VA, Austin Perry, Matteau Perry, and Kyle Taylor; a granddaughter, Chrissy Hyatt and a great-granddaughter, Grace Ann Hennig of Alexandria VA; one niece, Laurie (Bob) Miller; nephews, Greg (Wanda) and Brian Warfield as well as several grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, David A. Perry; her parents and a sister, LaVerne Faulkner. A Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home.
