Maria Escalante

Biography Roselinda Escalante, 70, of Longmont, died surrounded by family on August 17, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital. She was born on May 04, 1943 in Mead to Manuel Archuleta and Abelina Martinez. In 1979 in Longmont, Mary married her best friend, Jose Escalante. Rose’s life revolved around her love of family. She spent much of her time with her nieces and nephews. She was an incredibly kind hearted person who was always there to lend a hand, day or night. She loved spending time with family and friends, dining out, shopping and chatting. She worked for Longmont foods for over 30 years. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Anthony Archuleta, Margaret Garcia, Irene Olvera, Grace and Anita Martinez. She is survived by and will be lovingly missed by her husband, Jose and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held Wed. August 21 from 5-7pm with a Rosary to follow at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held Thurs. August 22 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont followed by an Inturment at Foothills Gardens of Memory. Service Information A service summary is not available
