Patricia Sharp

Patricia Sue Sharp passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by Family on Sunday October 1st, 2017. She was born January 4th, 1958 in Longmont, Colorado to Alex DeBrey Sr. and Ethel Louise (Davies) DeBrey. She was raised in Commerce City, Colorado where she attended Adams City High School. At 16 years old while visiting her grandmother Ellen DeBrey in Firestone, Colorado she met her future husband and soulmate John Jackson sharp Jr. (Jack) The couple was married two short years later on June 5th 1976 in Denver, Colorado. They eventually made their home in Firestone, Colorado in 1978. Pat took over the gymnastics program at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center in 1990 where she worked as the gymnastics director until 2013. It was here that Pat did her life's work where she raised three daughters within the program and personally touched and loved hundreds of lives. You could always find Pat in the gym. Her smile could light up any room. Pat also loved Polka dancing on Sundays, bowling with her husband and father and going on cruises with family. She is survived by her husband Jack, mother Ethel, Brothers Roger, Wayne and James. Daughters Veronica, Lisa and Lynn. Grandchildren Marcus, Alex, Bailey, Aiden, Owen, Vanessa, Gracie and Isabelle. She will always be remembered forever in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her father Alex DeBrey Sr. Family, friends and others whose lives Pat touched are invited to a memorial service, a celebration of life at the Rocky Mountain Christian Church 5860 Majestic Street Frederick, Colorado on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a reception held at the church immediately following the service.
