Richard Tishmack
Jan 3, 1944 — Jul 15, 2016
Richard Wade Tishmack, 72, slipped the bounds of earth and touched the Hand of God on July 15, 2016 at home in Morristown, AZ, formerly of Longmont, CO. He was surrounded by family members who could be there. He passed very peacefully.
Rich was born in Elgin, ND on January 3, 1944, to George and Ann (Steckler) Tishmack. Rich was preceded in death by his parents and two of his brothers, Robert G. and Steven B. Tishmack.
Rich was the oldest child of thirteen children. He was married on April 22, 1965 to Mary Julia Gray at the Shelby County Court House in Memphis and left to go to OR to meet his family. That was a trip all by itself!
Rich graduated McIntosh, SD High School in May of 1962 and moved with his family to OR. He later enlisted in the U S Navy and that is where he met his future wife.
Rich worked for the cement plant @ Lyons, CO (CEMEX) for 35 years and retired in 2006. He was a heavy equipment operator and was very proud to be among the numbered operators with Catapiller Corp. He particularly loved the 992G front end loader.
Rich loved 4-wheeling, camping, and fishing. His family enjoyed these same things. Lots of good times.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Troy D. Tishmack; daughters, Val Tishmack, and Angela Sadek, (Bill); grandsons, Corey W. Tishmack, and Nicholas Sadek ; granddaughters, Nicole and Kirsten Sadek; Brothers, David L. Tishmack, Douglas P. Tishmack, Lonnie Tishmack, George B. Tishmack, Rodney A. Tishmack, and sisters, Sandra Herrera (Paul), DeVonne Knoch (Tom), Brenda Ladd (Tony), Jolene Billups (Ed), and Renee Tishmack (Matt). He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins around the Country.
Rich will be truly missed.
