Robert Leqve

Robert (Bob) Gayle Leqve, 80, of Longmont, died on December 15, 2012. He was born on December 29, 1931 to Alf Leqve and Laura Eickhoff in Rochester, MN. Bob graduated Class of 1950 High School in Rochester. He then joined the Air Force on March 20, 1952 and served until 1956. He married Mary Heimer on Nov. 5, 1960. Bob transferred from IBM in MN to the plant in Boulder Co. where he retired after 33 years as the Head of Contracting Services. He enjoyed golf, finding the perfect bargain, reading, visiting and traveling with his friends. Bob was a very organized man who was always willing to help. Bob was a great father, husband and friend who was dependable and there for everyone at any time. Bob is survived by one brother: Duane Leqve of FL; Two sons: Jay Leqve, his wife Becca, and grandchildren Dustin, Kyler and Alexa, Cory Leqve, his wife Gail and grandson Tyler Leqve & Daughter, Lisa Burwick, her husband Barry and grandson Sawyer. As well as many close friends. He will be missed greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alf and Laura Leqve; wife, Mary Heimer and a brother, Arnold Leqve. A Celebration of Life will be held during the spring or summer of 2013. Cremation was entrusted to Carroll-Lewellen Funeral & Cremation Services. Service Information A service summary is not available
