Shirley passed away December 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, and in the comfort of her youngest daughter (Jackie Copley’s) home. Shirley, after an eventful life chose to be a stay-at-home Mom with 8 children. She crafted many talents, one that the family loved was her baking. She also loved dogs, a love that was passed down to her own kids and grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her mother and father, and her loving husband John Atkinson. Shirley is survived by 8 children, 27 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren thinking of Shirley will recall heart-warming visions and loving days shared knowing such a kind heart. She has brought smiles and kindness to everyone she knew, just one more thing that will live on with her family who have known and loved her.
