Betty is survived by daughters, Lisa Phillips and husband Doug, and Lora Gage; grandchildren, Leslie Roller and husband David, Kaylie Bailey and husband Zac, Matthew Phillips and wife Jordan, and Alden Gage and wife Megan; great-grandchildren Katelyn and Jack Roller; sister Peggy Adams and husband Walter, brother Charlie (C.H.) Darnell and wife Freda, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mount Carmel. Friends may also call anytime at the residence.

A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7 p.m. with pastors Todd Haley, Danny Lamb, and David Roller officiating. Music to be provided by the Lighthouse Quartet.

The family would like to thank Betty’s neighbor and longtime friend, Dorothy Moore, for always being there and watching over her, and a special word of thanks to her Sunday School class, choir, and all of her longtime friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 311 Cypress Street, Mount Carmel, TN 37645.
