Beulah G. Arnold, age 91, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport. She attended Church Hill High School where she lettered in basketball. Following high school, Beulah attended cosmetology school during the 1960’s in New York City. In addition to her career in cosmetology, she drove a bus for the Hawkins County School System for 30+ years. In her free time, Beulah enjoyed sports and had played on many local championship softball teams. She later enjoyed coaching softball and bowling in various leagues throughout the area. She was an avid outdoors enthusiast who loved to fish and hunt. Most of all, Beulah was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60+ years, Joseph Arnold; son, Gary Arnold; parents, Kermit and Cannie Bailey; and 3 brothers, Edison, August and Norman Bailey.
She is survived by her son, Kent Arnold and wife, Pamela; 3 grandchildren, Meghan Arnold, Mycah Smith and husband, Derek, and Morghan Arnold; 2 great-grandchildren, Gaven and Shailyn Smith; special friends, Twyla Starnes and Kim DeCroes; several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastor Kenny Collins officiating.
