Clair Elton Bruner

Mt Carmel – Clair Elton Bruner, 62 of Mt Carmel, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Harlan, KY, he had lived in Hawkins County for most of his life. Clair worked at Asplundh Tree Service and attended First Baptist Church in Church Hill. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gary Gerhardt officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Temple Hill Cemetery in Castlewood, VA. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Bruner family.
