Cornie I. Price

Cornie I. Price, age 82 of Church Hill, TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Cornie was born on October 14, 1943, in Church Hill, TN, to Will and Rosa Bowery Eaton. On September 3, 1988, Cornie married her most cherished friend, William Price, and after over 20 years of wonderful marriage together, he preceded her in death in August of 2014. For over 30 plus years, Cornie was a dedicated clerk at the Hawkins County Tax Office.

Cornie loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and decorating her home for each new season. The Christmas season was Cornie's favorite time of year, as her family always gathered to celebrate Christmas together. She also enjoyed working on puzzles and researching genealogy.

Cornie was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, William Price; eight brothers, Robert Eaton, Guy Rex "Sherill" Eaton, W.C. "Tubby" Eaton, Larry E. Eaton, Herman Eaton, Bill Eaton, Ted Eaton, and Herbert Eaton; and nine sisters, Helen Smith, Betty Jo Eaton, Mrs. Ollie Hall, Mrs. Georgia Barton, Mrs. Mary Alice Long, Mrs. Kathleen Gardner, Mrs. Nellie Harris, Mrs. Patsy Mowell, and Mrs. Emogene Carter. Those left to cherish her memory are her special grandchildren, Corey Price and wife, Courtney, Kasey Wolf and husband, Steven, Kory Carter and wife, Casey, Kelly Crisp and husband, Beatty, and Jessica Price; special great grandchildren, Charlotte Price, Clay Carter, Kreed Carter, Emma Jean Wolf, and Claire Carter; special nieces and nephews, Betty Sue Hall, Joyce Siegal, Kathy Snapp, Keith and Cynthia Carter, Kris and Felicia Carter, and Barbara and Jeff Woods; three step-sons, Adam Price, Patrick Price and wife, Lisa, and Joe Price; brother, James Eaton and wife, Sharon; brother-in-law, Randy Price and wife, Toni; and many other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Cinnamon Center, in care of Burem Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1324 Burem Road, Rogersville, TN 37857.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home Church Hill. An entombment service will be conducted on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 am at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastor George "Fuzz" Bradley. Kris Carter, Corey Price, Keith Carter, Kory Carter, Beatty Crisp, and Steven Wolf will be serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the entombment service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am.
