James Michael Frazier

The greatest happiness on earth lies on the back of the horses.

James “Mike” Michael Frazier, age 73 of Surgoinsville, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2nd,2026 at his residence. Mike was born in Kingsport, TN on August 14, 1952, to Henry and Annie Frazier. He retired from AFG after 34 years of service. Mike loved working with and riding horses. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Mike also loved working on his land with his tractor. Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents Mike is preceded in death by his three brothers and sister.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years Sharon Frazier; children Jamie, Jason, and Amy; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Church Hill.

 A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm with Rev. Glenn Hicks officiating.

 A graveside service will follow at Frazier Family Cemetery.
