Jerry “Larry” Bledsoe, 73, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He retired Greif Brother Corporation after over 30 years of service. Larry was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Bledsoe; son, Shannon Arrington; parents, Raleigh and Evelyn Bledsoe; brothers, Wayne Bledsoe; sisters, Edith Wade, Joray Kelly, and Tammy Harmon.
Survivors include his son, Gerald Arrington; grandchildren, Cydnie Stapleton and Roan Arrington; brother, Donnie Bledsoe; sisters, Ruth Russell and Linda Howington; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Linkous Family Cemetery in Mt. Carmel with Pastor Chad Tipton officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50pm.
