MARK (PAP) MALLORY
Surgoinsville- Jonothan Mark (Pap) Mallory, 61, of Surgoinsville, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Saturday (April 13, 2019) at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. Mark retired from Abernathy Insulation. Following retirement, he loved to be outdoors, going camping and especially fishing. Pap especially loved his granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Maxwell Mallory; a sister, Donna Denton; his best friend, Johnny Clemons.
Mark Mallory is survived by his sons, Mark James Mallory and wife, Patra, Jonothan (Fireball) Mallory and girlfriend, Jennifer Lawson; granddaughters, Madison Mallory and Brooklynn Mallory; grandsons, Hunter and Remington Skelton along with Jake Williams and Charlie Lawson; his mother, Charlotte Mallory; siblings, Marlene Bright, Darlene Lowe and husband, Howard, Allen Mallory and wife, Judy, Debbie Sturgill and husband, Jerry, Linda Combs, Samuel Mallory, Becky White and husband, Mark; his best friend, Tim Flanigan; a special friend, Emma Hart along with several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday (April 16, 2019) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday (April 17, 2019) at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh, officiating. Mark Mallory, Fireball Mallory, Hunter Skelton, David Bates, Dewey Davis, Brian McLain, and Remington Skelton will serve as pallbearers.
