Joyce Lucile Jones

Joyce Lucile Jones, age 81 of Blountville, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Joyce was born on April 25, 1945, to Henry and Carrie Bagley. Joyce worked many years as a nurse, as she always had a heart for caring for others. On October 17, 1963, Joyce married the love of her life, Herman Jones, and after 58 years of a beautiful life together, Herman preceded her in death on December 1, 2021.

Joyce loved her family and she was a devout member of Pleasant View Baptist Church for over 30 years, where she was very active in several different ministries. She enjoyed crocheting, making all kinds of arts and crafts, and going to blue grass music festivals with her beloved husband.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Herman Jones; two sons, Samuel Jones, and David H. Jones; and one daughter, Martha Jones Isley. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sara Jones and husband, Rick Stickler; three grandchildren, Cara Lane, Marissa Isley, and Lyndia Isley; brother, Jerry Bagley and wife, Linda; and many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Pleasant View Baptist Church.
